Profile
Hannah Smith is an Associate who works across McKays’ Estate Planning, Commercial & Business, and Property & Development teams.
Originally from Mackay, Hannah completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Creative and Professional Writing) at Queensland University of Technology. She subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice before returning to Mackay in 2018 to begin her legal career.
Throughout her career, Hannah has developed experience across a diverse range of legal matters. Earlier in her career, she worked in residential conveyancing, assisting clients with property sales and purchases. While residential conveyancing is no longer a primary focus of her practice, this experience has given Hannah a strong understanding of property transactions and the legal and practical considerations associated with property ownership.
Hannah now assists clients with their estate planning needs, business sales and purchases, and a broad range of commercial and property matters. Her experience across these complementary areas enables her to consider each matter from a broader perspective and provide advice that is thorough, considered and tailored to the client’s individual circumstances and objectives.
