Our team
Charli is a Solicitor in our Family Law team, based in our Mackay office.
After completing her high school education in Mackay, Charli moved to Townsville to study a Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University. During her studies, she was awarded the JCU Cullinane Law Scholarship for 2023–2025 and the McKays Solicitors Prize.
Before joining McKays, Charli gained experience in private practice in Townsville across family law, civil litigation, commercial law and succession law. She also volunteered with Townsville Community Law, conducting client consultations across a range of legal matters.
Through this experience, Charli developed strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a calm, considered approach to complex and emotionally sensitive situations. She brings these qualities to her work in family law, helping clients feel heard, supported and informed as they navigate important decisions.
