Specialist Areas:
Louise has experience in civil court and general litigation matters. She can assist clients at all stages of a matter, from preliminary advice on prospects of a case, through to bringing about a satisfactory settlement in a mediation or trial.
Louise also has a keen interest in employment and industrial relations law and has experience in different areas including drafting of employment contracts, claims for unfair or unlawful dismissal and assisting clients in disciplinary processes.
Career Summary:
Louise completed tertiary study at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane in 2005. She undertook a trainee solicitorship with a local firm throughout 2006 and was admitted as a Solicitor in February 2007. She joined the litigation team at McKays Solicitors in November 2007.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Laws (Queensland University of Technology)
• Bachleor of Journalism (Queensland University of Technology)
• Admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland
